I am trying to download the free 60 day trial of ESRI's version of ArcGIS10.2.2 3D Analyst Tools from their website. I currently have ArcGIS10.0 but do not have access to many of the extensions (like 3D analyst) and complimentary programs (such as ArcScene) which I was hoping to try before I buy. The installation of the free trial requires the uninstallation of v.10 which is undesirable. If I was to upgrade to v.10.2 and then install the free trial would I still be prompted to uninstall all current desktop versions of Arc or would it be like an add-on and work in conjunction with the software I currently have until the trial eventually runs out?
