Hi.
I know this isn't a new topic--but I've read all of the threads about a dozen times (and tried several workarounds) and after about 3 days of this I could use some help.
I'm trying to install either 10.1 via my institution's license, or the 60-day trial of 10.2 (doesn't matter which--just something). ArcGIS installs ok, but I can't get the license manager to install because it is detecting 10.0 on there. I uninstalled using the windows uninstaller, then searched on all of the License10.0 and Desktop10.0 entries in the registry and removed those, so I can't see any flagrant references to 10.0 anymore.
I should mention that there were some computer problems caused by some malware last week that ended up deleting a large portion of my data files, so that's when the trouble started--although things seem to be working properly now (with the exception of this ArcGIS issue.)
I'm near the breaking point and may just blow away the system and reinstall windows and everything from scratch--but if I can avoid that it would be preferable!
Any help would be appreciated.
