I've set up a new server (Server 2012) with the 10.2 version of License Manager. I have created a firewall rule to allow TCP 27000-27009. From what I have read and what I remember doing with past versions, that should be all I have to do.
Now, if I open ArcGIS Administrator on a client computer and try to specify the License Manager, I receiver the error "<server> does not have a valid License Manager. Please enter a valid License Manager Server." Checking the firewall logs on the server, I see a TCP dropped connection attempt from my client to the server on port 57640. If I modify the firewall rule that I created, to also allow TCP 57640, then everything works fine. I've searched the internet and found no reference to 57640 so I'm wondering what's going on?
