Can someone tell me if the .NET SDK is available for use with the trial version or home use version. I want to test compatibility with 10.1 but I do not want to upgrade my development machine because once I do, none of my add-ins will be compatible with clients that still use 10.0.
I installed a trial version of 10.1 on a clean machine. Downloaded a trial version of Visual studio 2010 (almost impossible to find, when the heck is ESRI going to be compatible with VS 2012????). That took me the whole freaking day, only to find out that the trial version no longer includes the .NET SDK.
Isn't the purpose of trial versions so we can test compatibility? Do I seriously need two machines and two licenses? You guys make it pretty damn hard to be developers with your software.
