Our company have over 20 branches, and some of these have 10mbit connections.
We have been getting complaints for some time now that people are experiencing many short delays when using ArcMAP: For each operation they did (draw a new line, move an object, create text etc) there was a delay with the spinning wheel cursor for 2-3 seconds.
Today we finally found a disturbing fact: When people borrow a license, this delay disappears!
The client computers have a good ping to the license server (11 - 14ms), however they experience a lot more delay than the larger offices that has 100mbit to the license server.
Can somebody from ESRI please comment on this? We have a lot of frustrated employees.
